this picture shows what the sun looked like in the oasis


desert : a region so arid because of little rainfall that it supports only sparse and widely spaced vegetation or no vegetation at all.

caravan: a group of travelers, as merchants or pilgrims, journeying together for safety in passing through deserts. / The people travaled to other parts with horses and camels and other animals.

omen : anything perceived or happening that is believed to portend a good or evil event or circumstance in the future. / He reads omens with Urim and Thummim

Gold: a precious yellow metallic element, highly malleable and ductile. / they are in the search of gold.

Oasis: a small fertile or green area in a desert region, usually having a spring or well.

/ they travel through and passed the oasis.

treasure: wealth, rich materials, or valuable things. / he has a treasure to search for.

They all Connect to The Alchemist because they are all used in important parts of the book.

In the Alchemist Santiago was with the chrystal merchant. He was probably smoking out with the englishman out of his hookah but he was passing along the dessert in the caravan and he seen some thing on his way. He is in the caravan and the Englishman finds out the word of ALAH, and Santiago finds ou the special meaning of the Caravan.

Dear Mr.speigelman:

I am writting to you just to tell you that i like the books MAUS and MAUS 2.
I am bearly reading the first MAUS but i heard about the second one.

It is very dramatic because of the pictures. And the art is very great and fun.

I like the fact that you have made the people into mouses, Well i would like to thank you for giving me a great book to read. I am looking forward to reading the second MAUS book.
